Glass Shield / Security Films
What is Glass Shield ?
- Super-strong, invisible multi-laminate polyester membrane professionally bonded to the inside of existing side windows
- Helps increase resistance of glass to breakage and keeps thieves out
- Optically clear, scratch resistant, easy to keep clean and available in clear and lightly tinted versions
Security films start at 50 microns and go up to 450 microns. Thinner security films advertised in the same way are not as effective although they can act as a safety barrier to prevent flying shards of glass. We can fit the thickest gauge films to all side windows of vehicles - whilst some flatter rear screens can be treated, most are fitted with a thinner film because of the compound curve of the glass and thickness of the film.
